Day 1 Arrival Nairobi
Approximately 22kms, takes approximately 1 hour's drive depending on traffic

Kencher Safaris guide driver will warmly meet you on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, transfer you to the Ibis Styles Hotel. Check-in then brief you on what will likely be your Best Holiday in Africa. Enjoy overnight in standard room. You are booked on Bed & Breakfast.

Day 2 Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
Approximately 35 Minutes light aircraft from Wilson Airport to Amboseli

Enjoy breakfast then we transfer you to the Wilson Airport for your morning scheduled flight to the Amboseli National Park. Kilima Safari Camp vehicle & guide driver will pick you from the Airstrip, transfer you to the lodge for check-in then lunch. Enjoy an afternoon shared African safari game viewing drive. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. Later return back to the Kilima Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Amboseli National Park

Enjoy early morning game viewing drive the return back to the lodge for breakfast. Mid-morning is at leisure. If the weather permits you will enjoy breath-taking views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the best Kenya safari experiences. It is from the Amboseli where some of the most captivating wildlife photos with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background have been taken. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the Kilima Safari Camp.

lima Safari Camp located in the area of Amboseli National Park, next to the Kimana Gate Park entrance. The camp is set out on a 420-acre site with spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The Kimana area of Amboseli is famous for its large elephant population. Guests can enjoy great game viewing from their tents which face the animal water pools. All public areas and guest rooms are set towards Mount Kilimanjaro.

All 72 tents and lodges at Kilima Safari Camp include a 4-poster bed with a mosquito net with a seating area and a private bathroom. Among these are 50 Classic Safari Tents, each with a large private balcony, 10 Superior Safari tent with lion claw bath tubs and 12 lodge rooms each with a large private balcony.

Day 4 Fly Amboseli to Samburu via Nairobi
Approximately 2.5 Hours light aircraft from Amboseli to Samburu including 25 minutes stop in Nairobi

Enjoy early morning breakfast then the lodge vehicle will drop you at the Amboseli Airstrip for your morning scheduled flight to Samburu via Nairobi. Samburu Simba Lodge vehicle will pick you from the airstrip, transfer you to the camp for check-in. Enjoy lunch then a shared afternoon game viewing drive. Later return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

The Ark Lodge Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Resembling and named after Noah's Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen. So that you don't miss any animal sightings, the night guard will buzz your room when special animals come to the waterhole. There is also a ground level bunker - the perfect hideout for the discerning photographer. This is a circular pillbox-like structure, and it is from this vantage point that pictures of animals on the salt lick only yards away may be taken through the view holes in complete safety.

The Lodge has 52 standard rooms, all each offering all the essentials to ensure a comfortable stay and a balcony with a view of the vast wilderness and floodlit water holes. The lodge has two restaurants - the main restaurant one built in an open-air style has a view of floodlit water holes and the Leopard dinning tree. There is also the Leopard Bar and Restaurant where you're able to see the leopard feeding as you enjoy your dinner.

Day 5 Samburu National Reserve

Enjoy early morning game viewing drive to enjoy your African safari then return back to the camp for breakfast. Mid-morning is at leisure. Enjoy lunch then depart on an afternoon game viewing drive. The semi-arid game reserve is home to the special five of Samburu namely the generuk (Twiga gazelle), the grevy's Zebra, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and the reticulated giraffe. Other wildlife here includes lions, the savannah elephant, cape buffalo, the elusive leopard among many others. Later return back to the Samburu Simba Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Samburu Simba Lodge situated in Buffalo Springs Game Reserve, overlooking the Buffalo Springs and the Uaso Nyiro River. Samburu Simba Lodge has 18 cottages and 70 rooms, which are spacious, well furnished with a reading desk.

Day 6 Fly Samburu to Masai Mara National Reserve
Approximately 5.5 Hours on a light aircraft

Enjoy breakfast then the camp vehicle will drop you at the airstrip for your morning scheduled flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve, the best Kenya safaris destination. This famous game reserve is one of the best places for a Safari in Africa. Zebra Plains Mara Camp vehicle will pick you from the airstrip, transfer you to the lodge for check-in, lunch then an afternoon game viewing drive. Later return back to the camp, enjoy diner and overnight.

Day 7 Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy morning and afternoon shared game viewing drives. This famous game reserve is world famous for the spectacular wildebeest migration between July through to September each year, the abundant wildlife including the 'Big five' of Africa. The reserve is surrounded by Masai village (traditional home-steads) and so at a small extra cost you may want to experience a Masai cultural visit to one of them. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the Zebra Plains Mara Camp.

Zebra Plains Mara Camp luxury tented rooms are furnished with all the amenities that you will require for a comfortable stay whilst visiting the Maasai Mara. The rooms can be converted into doubles, singles or triples depending on the guests' requests. Two of our luxury tented rooms are designed for honey-mooners and those set to celebrate their special occasions.

The camp has one standard luxury tented family tent that has two connected rooms with each of the rooms having own amenities. It is recommended for families with small children, 4 adults sharing in two twins or 2 Adults in single room occupancy. It is not recommended for two couples.

The camp also has two deluxe tented family Villas. These tents are very spacious and each of them has two rooms connected by a lounge and dining which still can be converted into a room. These villas are recommended for families with small children or teenagers, 6 Adults either in 3 twins/2 triples, 2 couples who know each other or even one family that has upto 8 members. Each of the 3 rooms (Lounge & Dining included) in each family Villa has own amenities, own entrances and own Verandahs.

All of Zebra Plains Mara Camp tents have both cold and hot running water for showers. They are as well furnished with washing basin, flushing toilet, luggage rack, reading table, mosquito nets and comfy safari chairs to experience the amazing views from the verandahs.

Day 8 Departure
Approximately 40 minutes on a light aircraft

Enjoy breakfast then check-out. The lodge vehicle will drop you at the Mara Serena Airstrip in time for your morning scheduled flight to Nairobi. We meet you on arrival at the Wilson Airport, transfer you to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch them onwards to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
